The Indian government will deploy 5,963 hi-tech CCTV cameras in 1,472 locations throughout Mumbai for a new CCTV surveillance system project, according to a report by The Asian Age. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the confirmed project, with technology provided by Larsen & Toubro subsidiaries, L&T Construction and L&T Infotech.
